10th Annual Montana Clean Energy Fair postponed to August 14th, 2021

Please update your calendars and join us for the 10th Annual Montana Clean Energy Fair in Butte, MT on Saturday, August 14th 2021. The Montana Clean Energy Fair is one of the biggest highlights of the year for MREA. Postponing the event is not something we take lightly. Due to the ongoing health crisis, as well as restrictions on large summer events implemented by state and local health officials, we feel it is in the best interest and safety of our members, supporters, and community to postpone the Fair until August 14th, 2021.

It will be impossible to recreate the energy and magic of the live Clean Energy Fair, and we won’t attempt to. However, in the spirit of the Fair we are excited to launch an educational, lunch-time webinar series this summer. Our new Summer Series will be a collection of 30-45 minute live presentations that will cover important topics in renewable energy, including: solar, wind, storage, policy and regulation, and more! Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.

Why is the 2020 Montana Clean Energy Fair being postponed?

The Montana Clean Energy Fair is one of the biggest highlights of the year for MREA. Postponing the event is not something we take lightly. Due to the ongoing health crisis, as well as restrictions on large summer events implemented by state and local health officials, we feel it is in the best interest and safety of our members, supporters, and community to postpone the Fair until August 14th, 2021.

Will the 2021 Fair be hosted in Butte, MT?

Yes! We were so excited to bring the Fair back to Butte, where it originally started back in 2010. The 10th Annual Fair will be held in Butte, MT on August 14th, 2021.

Will the Fair presentations be moved to an online format?

It will be impossible to recreate the energy and magic of the live Clean Energy Fair, and we won’t attempt to. However, in the spirit of the Fair we are excited to launch an educational, lunch-time webinar series this summer. Will MREA be cancelling other in-person events this year?
