MREA is excited to have once again partnered with the Sleeping Giant Citizens Council & Helena Vigilante Runners to host the 2021 Helena Sun Run and Clean Energy Expo. The event took place on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at Central School (402 N. Warren Street). The Expo included presentations on how to pair your renewable energy system with EVs and storage, plus opportunities to engage with renewable energy businesses, advocates, and enthusiasts. The Expo happened concurrently with the Helena Sun Run, a charitable walk/run event that raised funds for solar arrays on Helena's public schools. Join us again next year as we continue building community momentum toward a clean energy future!

2021 Helena Sun Run and Clean Energy Expo Schedule

9:30 am	Clean Energy Expo begins
	Opportunity to have your questions about solar, EVs, storage and more answered by professionals and experts working for Montana's clean energy future.
10:00 am	Sun Run 1 mile bike and walk parade begins
	This walk and bike parade raises funds for solar arrays and clean energy solutions in Helena. This year, the event raised funds for Helena Public Schools. To date, Helena Public Schools have installed PV systems on Central and Jim Darcy schools.
10:30 am	Sun Run 5k Begins
	This 5k raises money for solar arrays and clean energy solutions in Helena. This year, the event raised funds for Helena Public Schools. To date, Helena Public Schools have installed PV systems on Central and Jim Darcy schools.
11:00 – 11:30 am	Clean Energy Expo Presentation: Solar 2.0, Taking Solar Electricity to the Next Level
	Perhaps you have already installed solar on your home, but what's next? This presentation focused on living life after installing solar. We covered EVs, storage, and more at this exciting presentation.
